When you purposefully take a year off between high school and college, or college and the real world they call it the "Gap Year." It sounds proactive. It implies you're saving whales and generally making a difference in the world before embarking on your career in the real world. When you do the same thing without saving a whale, floundering about and wondering what comes next we call it the "Lost Year."

Spring Cleaning Revisited
Updates, changes and where that puts us now. What's been going so write that we haven't wanted to whine and blog?
The three contributors were friends in high school together. They went off to very different colleges with very different majors, then fifteen months after graduation all found themselves very much adrift in a sea of WTF-ness.
"The thing about working with time, instead of against it, is that it is never wasted. Even pain counts."
